Chuck’s Teaching and Music Experience
With over 30 years of experience teaching guitar at Green River and Tacoma Community Colleges and at his studio in Maple Valley, Chuck Buser has taught over five thousand people how to play guitar. Chuck has been a working professional musician since 1974 and has performed thousands of times in venues ranging from nightclubs to the Paramount playing rock, classical, folk, gospel, country and the blues. He has performed on radio and television and done extensive studio work.

Student-Centered Teaching Method
The method of instruction Chuck uses takes into account a student’s age, current knowledge, skill level and musical interests. Chuck’s experience has always been that people do best when they are learning music they like. Chuck suggests students write down a “wish list” of songs they would like to learn from their MP3 or CD collection. From this list, Chuck and the student will choose songs that will help the student learn the skills they need to be able to play the music the student loves.
